If you want to enjoy the clear Andaman Sea, a very long light sandy beach, beautiful views of the mountains covered with greenery, then this is the place for you, Bang Tao Beach! We sunbathed and swam in the sea near the Angsana hotel. We have been booking apartments in this place for the second year in a row. I like walking around the beautiful hotel grounds. You can ride a tram around the lakes of the Laguna absolutely free. The beach has sun loungers and umbrellas, 950 baht per umbrella and two sun loungers for the whole day. You can grab a bite to eat at the bars on the beach and by the pool. The staff is smiling and attentive, so you are guaranteed a good mood, as well as peace and relaxation!

This beach is stunning and surreal at the same time. You could easily sit here for hours and watch the waves crashing onto the shore. Whilst the current is strong and it’s not ideal for swimming, the scenery more than makes up for it. With coconut water readily available along with other drinks and snacks, you can’t go wrong in this beautiful paradise. The only disappointing thing is that it is a little dirty in places, so I wouldn’t recommend you walking bare foot across some parts. Otherwise, it’s great. Also, do not be fooled by the strong current- if you are advised not to swim in the sea, please abide by these rules no matter what.

Actually visited May2023, something in system meant not uploaded. Absolutely the nicest beach we have ever visited, our hotel was located here and we spent many days and nights here just relaxing. A few yards down the beach and you will find a wide array of bars, cafes and restaurants all located on or next to the beach. Beware of the riptide, after getting caught once, you learn to be a lot more careful.

Beautiful clean beach 8 kilometers long. The sand is gentle fine. The coastline is almost all built up by five-star hotels and built up not too long ago. Definitely this century. Therefore, there are treatment plants in hotels everywhere and the beach smells only of sea and cleanliness. No garbage. Whether it's cleaned up, the beach is self-cleaning, or there's little garbage, because the locals along the beach don't live. A few places have nice cafes. In the evening, you sit and breathe in the smell of the sea and listen to the noise of the waves. Now, in August, there are always waves!!! And the sea is just warm - 30 degrees. I certainly recommend relaxing in hotels on this beach.

Bang Tao Beach is a well-known beach due it being one of the longest beaches in Phuket. It is yet another beach that is known to be quite deserted, where tourists choose to visit the beach for its tranquility and peaceful atmosphere. The sea is calm and clear from November to April, and one can expect rougher waves between May and October. It always pays to be more aware of the red flags that can be found on the coastline for safety.

If I ever go back to Phuket then Bang Tao will be the area and beach I would be staying. I’ve tried several other beaches on my last trip but Bang Tao was the only beach with great atmosphere, and cleanest. The one below from Bang Tao - Surin is also okay but it is quite small and gets really crowded.

Beautiful beach in Bang Tao. Clean and well appointed with sunbeds and umbrellas for rent. Small beach restaurants. The sea is clean. Since Nai Yang it takes 30 minutes by scooter but frankly it is worth it.

It is a super nice beach, our hotel is right here and we visit the beach every day. The water is pleasantly warm, but also refreshing. Besides, the sand is breathtaking and some bars are also here, as well as various activities. In summary, I would say: the perfect beach for young and old
