My sister and I did a day with Elephant Discovery back in May! The entire experience was excellent! We were picked up right from our hotel and driven out to the location where we were able to walk with, bathe, feed, and make food for...More
My day with the elephants at Elephant Discovery was the highlight of my month long trip. I had concerns going into the jungle with people I didn’t know as a woman traveling alone so I did a lot of research into which company would be...More
Fantastic day with family of two adults and two teens. We each got to look after and learn about an elephant for the day. We were amazed just how much they eat, how much they love a bath and how much care they require. Bath...More
We spent the day with four elephants and their keepers (they have one each) together with Dominic and a guide.
These elephants live a five star life. They are amazingly beautiful & we spent the day feeding, bathing, washing and watching them in their natural...More
What an amazing day. 4 of us on a private tour with 4 elephants and loads of elephant carers and English speaking guides.
We fed them, washed them and rode bare back
They were excellently looked after and happy lady elephants.

We spent time on the internet researching elephant sanctuaries to pick one for a visit. We first chose the "nature" one which seems to dominate on-line reviews. We put down a deposit for an activity and then decided we wanted to try a different activity....More
I’ll start by saying this was an AMAZING experience! You must do this if you’re visiting Chiang Mai! This elephant sanctuary was recommended to me by a friend that had a great experience. I emailed the company to ask for a scheduled date and received...More
Our day at Elephant Discover getting to know 4 different elephants was magical. We loved every minute! We had a bit of a snafu getting there...we were supposed to be picked up at 8:30am at our hotel, and when we arrived in the lobby we...More
My husband and I recently spent a day at Elephant Discovery while visiting Thailand for our one year wedding anniversary. We were skeptical about visiting animal "attractions" as we are animal lovers and didn't want to support any unethical business. We expressed this to our...More
This was a great experience. There are a few things that really stood out that made this an instant highlight of our trip.
Most importantly, the EDCM team was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and experienced. As a first experience with elephants like this, I think this made...More

Hello htc001. I’m not allowed to post The official website But at the top of all the reviews you’ll see a link to there official web site. If you contact them and they have a “Mr Tee” ,,,,(and not the crime fighting African American you may be thinking of),,,then you have the right place.
Our tour was organised by “Bee” the female manager at Jade Tower Downtown. She speaks reasonably good English. They have a kind of tour desk at the entry of Jade Tower. She truely was so helpful finding us the best prices on anything.
So, I probably wouldn’t book ahead before being in Chiang Mai as it really is difficult communicating via email or phone due to the communicational language barrier. But when in Chiang Mai, go to the “Art in Paradise” which is about 1/2 mile from the old city. Every Tuk Tuk guy we met knows where that is. It’ll cost about 100 baht which is $3.50 takes 5 mins...As you stand out side looking at “Art In Paradise” look to your left and up. There is a 10 storey building that says “Jade Tower Down town” on it. Walk around the corner and it’s an open air foyer with desk. Ask for Bee. She can arrange it on the spot. I hope this helps. And I hope you have a great time.
