Watch all beautiful movies, then you know all of the tribes of Northern Thailand. Wonderful collection of original attributes and clothes. Nice shop. One of the best things we visited in Chiang Mai.

I visited both the Lanna Cultural Center and the Tribal Museum while I was in Chiang Mai and I think the Tribal Museum was far more informative. You start out watching a fifteen minute video that covers some basic facts about the Hill Tribes of...More

There is no guarantee if you will be able to visit the museum. Also, there are no tuk tuks or taxis there waiting for you. Try to figure out a way to go though.

the entrance is past the police station on chotana road, a little further west than the map indicates. Entrance today was an enforced 40 baht donation. A large collection of artifacts and movies. Raises more questions then it answers, but that's ok.

Hi Michael, I'm sorry but I don't remember how much it cost to get in to the museum. I'm sure it must have been reasonable, because if it had been expensive then I probably would have been more likely to remember it, sorry... More
