This summer palace is in the hills, so cooler than lower. There is no entrance into the Palace itself, just strolling the gardens that sprawl around the Palace.

Nice gardens. Not a lot to look at as walking area is very restricted. Not a lot of information for self guided tours.

There are lots of beautiful gardens. You should stay somewhere around this area to get to Doi Suthep early and can enjoy the mountain all day long.
