Sri Mahamariamman Temple is the same replica of temples in Tamil Nadu. Very divine atmosphere. It’s wonderful to see people from different nations are worshiping here.

This Hindu temple is a bit far from the tourist path, but it worth the walk. The colorful facade itself is impressive. Management staff is very friendly.

Near the Holiday Inn and Jewelry Trade Center I had often passed in a taxi but wanted to see it up close. Unfortunately you can’t take pictures inside this amazingly decorated temple. You can walk in and make an offering if you want. The detail...More

Incredible decoration and detail on this temple situated right on the Silom Road towards the Charoen Krung end. Well worth a detour here if you are staying in the area. It is quite spectacular.

I came by to take a look at this Hindu Temple as I’ve seen many similar temples from India to Malaysia. I felt the people ‘working’ here to be indifferent on the verge of unfriendly. The surroundings are quite majestic and the atmosphere is chaotic...More

If you happen to be at the market across the street you should just stop by to check out the design of this place, the outside is just a riot of color and images. Great for photographs.

A beautiful Hindu/ Tamil temple which is a dramatic contrast to the Thai style of temple. Frequented by the US and indians alike, this is a very beautiful and, busy attraction. My only observation is that, there is a never ending requirement to pay pay...More

This temple is built in the Indian Tamilnadu style. Very clean, with a lot of colorfully decorated Hindu Gods. I made a quick stop while I was passing by and it was very fulfilling. I bought some flowers and fruits just outside the temple for...More

Very peaceful place, you can buy the offerings (if you want) from the stalls set up inside the temple compound. The temple itself has excellent architecture inside and outside. Worth a visit if you are around the area.

Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions,
this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many.
Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi
Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the
plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a
night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's
worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers
on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop
