I didn't know that many flowers existed. There was a huge celebration going on and hundreds of people were decorating hundreds of things from small carts to giant platform stages with hundreds - no - thousands of flowers. I didn't need to buy any flowers...More

We went to the market by taxi on our own at night (i don't think an organised tour is necessary). It was interesting, it was nice, seeing all these beautiful flowers and the different colours and shapes they make with the flowers. The place was...More

We walked around the flower (and vegetable) market, but it seemed that all the freshest flowers had already been picked over. Or perhaps it was just a little late in the day. Lot of garland and jasmine leis. Pretty interesting

Interesting place for a little walk around. Open 24 hours a day. You can see the stall owners preparing flowers and making religious artifacts inside their stalls. Very colourful, bright and a great sensory experience. Interesting to see the workings of a traditional Thai market....More

When we cruised through Chao Phraya River we stopped at this pier and behind it was Bangkok largest flower market. Just dropped by to see the freshness of Thai flower, vegetable and fruit. The price of the flower is also very cheap.

While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok,
it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn
the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and

this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off
their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most
spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to
Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around
