What Makes It Special
ASIATIQUE The Riverfront will be Bangkok’s first large-scale riverside project combining shopping, dining, sightseeing, activities and events under one roof. The strong cultural aspect is what sets it apart from other shopping malls. Embracing history, but avoiding the cultural clichés and traditional symbols, it strikes a balance between tradition and globalization.

Interesting market area, with lots of restaurants and small shops... I only went there to view the Muay Thai Live show. That being said, the free river shuttle ride to get there was a nice means of transportation!

Mrs saw pictures of this place, thinking that it offers trendy fashion retailers. Alas, there are mostly local crafts, scent, cultural fashion retailers and eateries. The only pluses were the river ferry to that place and a nice pair of bermudas bought from a local...More

Decided to visit at end of a fantastic 16 day holiday in Thailand. Absolute waste of time. Seemed to me to be aimed at Chinese visitors. The stalls were chintzy and dull compared to what is available elsewhere in the city. The food we tried...More

The whole night market gave off a different vibe so it’s picture worthy. Unfortunately the prices are definitely towards tourist rates instead so we forgo dining there since there are other places nearby that sell cheaper food/products. Journey to the night market was hassle free....More

Our advice from locals was don’t go by taxi. To much traffic. So they had a map of the city which was small and they circled where to catch the boat. We got a taxi for like $6 to that point. Here’s is something to think... More
