I've found it useful for sourcing electronic gear, for phones, and computers. There are electronic shops on two levels and I've found the people there to be quite helpful. I've been there a few times.

Needed a place to work on my laptop, found this place via online reviews. Both times I had gone here, the service was first rate, with the owner, Nick, proving himself to be an honest and excellent craftsman.

Mall has plenty of mobile phone and IT stores to browse. A good place to go if you need a mobile or a laptop repaired. There are also plenty of chain restaurants such as Yayoi, KFC and Fuji to name a few.

There was nothing in this mall that would make me return. So long as you don't need any IT stuff, but if you need food then there is a huge Tesco here

Every weekend, thousands of tourists make their way up
to this Northern Bangkok suburb to get lost in an
enormous maze of shops at the Chatuchak Weekend
Market. Home to almost 10,000 vendors, you’ll find
everything from vintage sneakers to comic books and
Thai handicrafts being sold here. You name it,
Chatuchack probably sells it. The market is a great
place to pick up souvenirs, but be sure to bargain for
