The door, however beautiful, would not be worth a detour. Take a look if you go to the Saadian Toombs.

We happened on the gate by chance on our way to the Badi Palace but it was on our list. Needs to have some repairs done to it to bring it back its former glory but worth a visit.

Large original entrance gate to the city of marrkech. A great place to take a picture if only for the sheer size of this gate.

One of original door/gates in Marrakech, if not the only one. Make sure you pass by on the way to the palaces or the Saadian tombs.

A beautiful old entrance gate to the city - well worth the visit because it is the only original still standing. At the same time, it is fun to explore the Kasbah and perhaps visit the Saadian tombs.
