The old Jewish area of the town, we enjoyed a quiet walk down these discreet streets between high mud-baked walls. It is a nice complement to the other sights in Marrakesh,

We stand out as foreign tourists in the Jewish Quarter which is ok during the day but quite intimidating after dark. Our Riad is off the spice market so involves a walk through lanes and I hate to feel afraid and really want to be...More

Not much different than other poor neighborhoods. Not anything left of Jewish history except the beautiful Lazama synogogue and the very eerie looing cemetary

The mellah is interesting to visit but a lot like the souks and general Medina. They charge you to enter the Synagogue but we read it was not worth the visit. I don't think it is a must in Marrakech

There are about four rooms set around an open courtyard. There is a synagogue, room featuring music, feating photos, and a decent bathroom. Just go, it's worth it!

This Jewish Cemetary is currently being restored but the size of it takes your breath away. It is worth visiting as your contribution will help with the restoration.
