This is a street with the Hammam Moussine and the Musee Moussine as well as the Moussine fountain. It also branches off into the Souq des Teinturiers (Dyer's souq) which is one of the most colorful during the day and one of the few specialized...More

The Rue du Mouassine seemed fairly similar to other narrow streets in the medina. It is busy, noisy and colorful with street vendors hawking all manner of goods: brass ware, clothing, ceramics, fabrics, leather goods, jewelry, dried fruits, meat, and baked goods. Beware of noisy...More

Another route that we took from our Riad to the main square, less hassle from the shop owners along here but nothing much better than anywhere else

This is another street market here in Morrocco. If you have visited other ones around here it's similar. The street is full of local stuff.

I really enjoyed walking rue Mouassine. You get the feel of a less busy souk with very nice shops, art galleries and the discovery of old and renovated fandouks (caravansérail buildings).

An attractive alternative to the main shopping area. Prices are much better and still can negotiate. With vendors also cleaner and neater here with less to worry about. Like the alternative spot.

Not so crowded and less tourists so you can go Shopping for reasonable prices without being pushed inside the shops all the Time.

Restaurants, riads, café, shops, spices… It’s a landmark street in the city, very colorful, some local artists that are trying to make this part of the Medina different than the rest.
