Nice walking trail. Needs volunteers to pick up prior walking trash. Trail was level, easy activity rating. Will do this again. Every .05 miles marked. Would need bike to complete full trail.

A great hiking and biking trail that stretches over 15 miles in two sections. Very well kept and generally flat except for a few slight long inclines. Hikers, bikes and horses are present.

If you want an easy walk ,very far and secluded but not too secluded this is it. Its long and straight and boring, nothing really exciting to see but giant piles of horse crap . but ive been walking it for 23 years so i cant complain.

Biked the entire trail, south to North. I found the trail well-maintained and enjoyable. There were restrooms in Elkmont and both ends of the trail. The trail was mostly tree covered which was a treat. I was pleased with all the shade. A bonus was that yesterday there was a civil war anniversary orator speaking at the site of the Battle of Sulphur Creek Trestle. I only wish the trail was longer.…
