Say my son at his home in Athens. It’s a growing and renewing suburb of Huntsville Area. Great Real Estate opportunities in a vibrant redeveloping area. Lots of new shopping, dining and outdoor activities. Close to lots of State Lands and parks. Friendly in the go people. Quiet neighborhoods. Traffic is busy during rush hours however interstate 65 is close with several access points

I was there Tuesday August 6th by myself. Casey and Andrea from the visitor center were so gracious and full of information. That day I learned allot of history about a small town. During my adventure everyone I encountered were also gracious and full of information. Thank You Athens Alabama for sharing your history. Chrisella Norman

We enjoyed a very educational and entertaining Saturday walking tour of the Beaty Historic District. The guides dress in period costume and know their facts. We also caught part of the cemetery tour last week. Greatly recommended!

Thank you for taking time to provide a recommendation. We appreciate your time spent with us for the April Saturday Walks and the Athens Cemetery Stroll. I'll share your feedback with Mr. Billy about your Beaty Historic District tour and appreciation of his efforts to "dress the part" and dedicated research he's done to be as informed as possible. I hope you will make plans to return for more events in our Limestone County communities. Safe travels!
