Look for the fine print when ordering tickets on line - there is a $12 food/drink minimum. So in addition to the ticket price, there's more to pay. In addition, the price structure is such that 2 drinks will put you over $12. Better to...More
My husband and I were both first time Alley-Goers. I decided to surprise him for his birthday with tickets to see Marcus Johnson and the Urban Jam Band. We arrived at 6 when the doors opened. We ordered the spinach appetizer, shrimp and grits, and...More
recommended by a local. It was different from Twin Jazz, but just as fun. Although I liked the raw talent at the Twin Jazz better, it was nice to have a bigger more refined atmosphere. I recommend you get tickets ahead of time here though....More

We were unsure what to expect but this is an authentic place in the heart of Georgetown and as a tourist in Washington well worth a visit.
