By far the number one building in DC. Do it by night and day to get the full effect of how awesome this place is.

Seen it many times on TV but nothing like seeing it in person. We took our time and read his speeches inscribed on the wall. Park ranger pointed out the mistaken letter on the speech on the right side. He could not have been nicer...More

What beautiful memorial to an amazing person, the whole area has a really relaxed atmosphere everyone is really polite. Personally I’d recommend seeing it a sunrise and then if you can see it again at night.

People are all very polite so you can all take your own photos and selfies without other people in them. Great views towards the monument.

You've seen iit in the movies - in real life it is even more impressive with its long distance views and quotes written on the walls either side

Man it sure was hot when we went and there was a TON of people. The Lincoln Memorial is so amazing. It’s best to go there at time when it all lit up.

Great tour to see at night. Not a lot of people and the monument was spectacular looking. The whole area was lighted well.

This beautiful monument is not to be missed on a trip to DC. The building, the steps leading up to the building, the statue of Lincoln and all of the inscription are incredible. Well worth a visit.

It is. But D.C. is worth spending more time in. If you also want to visit some of the museums, you should plan for some days. Enjoy your stay. It is a nice city. :)
