Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

State Rt 100 goes north and south through the heart of Vermont .One of the 2 most scenic routes in Vermont. Mid October it did not disappoint. Vermont roads are outstanding and the scenery to die for. Stop along the way in Warren, Waitsfield, Stowe. About 100 miles, hiking off the side, easy stops

As advertised, this is an extremely scenic route through the Green Mountains of Vermont. I followed an outline I had gotten from an internet article listing 10 "must do's" along the route. We stopped at most of them, and the list was very accurate. I will comment on them separately. The drive itself is excellent with great scenery and plenty of places to get off the road for pictures or to explore further. My wife and I both felt this (along with the White Mountains in NH) was much more scenic and rewarding than our time at Acadia.

One of the questions below asks if you do this on a rainy day - it rained almost all morning, but we still enjoyed the drive.

We drove all over 7 states in our Fall Leaf Peeping road trip and this was one of the most memorable and spectacular drives. It even rained off and on but it didn't matter because the scenery was worth every mile of it. We feel this was one of the highlights of our trip and should not be missed if you are leaf peeping.

If you are visiting Vermont Columbus Weekend 2019, you must drive Route 100 from Wilmington, Vermont to Bridgewater Corners. Beautiful , vibrant colors everywhere! Once you get on Route 4 head east to the Connecticut River Valley.
