We have taken our boat out on this lake several times and love it. The scenery is beautiful, and we love the history of the area. There are also some hidden waterfalls and we like that it is not populated with houses.

Nice place to visit and see the scenic landscape. Access to the lake and trails is good. Nice hiking trails through mountain forests, with several brooks, creeks, and waterfalls.

The beach is within Devils Fork State Park and dogs must be on a leash at all times. Playing ball fetch in the water being about the only exception. Park Admission is $5 per person

Hi - If you mean the waterfall pontoon tour boats on the lake they hold about a dozen passengers. Private boats have passenger capacity on a tag or plate usually by the steering station on the boat.
