We love to travel and this place is so nice . Lake is big. Lake sites are hard to get if you have a big RV . Everything else is great.

First time at Raystown Lake—nice lake/area. Fun & relaxing time renting houseboat for 5 days, exploring the lake, fishing, kayaking, paddle board & swimming.

Raystown is a beautiful lake that is primarily aimed at boaters. I was disappointed by the fact that it seemed difficult to access the lake on foot as the shore line is a drop off. There are plenty of boat docks though. Still it is...More

Took the family on the riverboat tour of the lake and it was such a relaxing and fun afternoon. Great way to see a lot of the lake and discover much of what it has to offer!

There is a cordoned off area with a Sandy Beach to swim, but you can also just jump in anywhere you'd like. If you aren't using the beach area I'd recommend water shoes.
