Good range of wines from a small boutique winery without all of the commercial noise of the bigger producers. Very good cellar door staff, well informed and a good host.

Stopped here during our time on Waiheke Island. We did not do a tour, but only stopped in their restaurant/tasting room. The seating areas are quite scenic and provide shade on a sunny day. The wines were good and not too pricey. The staff was...More

Beautiful winery, and the walk leading up to it was enjoyable. The wine was a bit expensive, but fantastic. Our wine sommelier was friendly, and patient with my lack of knowledge. Unfortunately, they were booked for lunch on a Friday afternoon so we were not...More

My friend and I basically hiked from Obsidian (it was closed) to Te Motu and were disappointed in the inattentive staff (they may have been understaffed). The wine was good but seemed a bit too pricey.

Lovely walk through the vineyards to their rambling garden full of little nooks to sit. Ranging from hideaway bits for smaller groups or larger areas for big groups. Reasonably priced cellar door, tried 5 wines, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Perfect.

I recently travelled to Auckland for business and decided to take the 40 minute trip out to Waiheke Island to test out some of the wineries on the island. Te Motu is a fantastic, family owned boutique winery in a great location adjacent to the...More

Stopped in here as part of a one day tour of a few wineries on the island. There was nothing bad about the place really but it just wasn’t a stand out and looking back would have gone elsewhere instead. Wine was nice but didn’t...More
