Vicki took care of everything, we were free to walk knowing that Vicki had planned wonderful walks for us and on our final day we finished with a late lunch at Mudbrick winery. We saw dolphins on our first day and followed them around the coast. It was a great holiday

Six superb days for six of us (three couples) staying in Vicki’s beautiful cottage. One of our party had planned every day with Vicki where we would be dropped somewhere, walk for several hours to arrive at a winery for a long lunch - does not get much better than this. When it became apparent that two of us were less fit and slower walkers, Vicki would organise a latter start (further down the track) or a short cut. She was always at the end of the phone for a pick up. Cannot rave too much, the walking, the scenery, the food all stunning. Two dinners at the cottage cooked by Vicki. Wow! Very highly recommended. We visited the Island as part of a 4 week tour of New Zealand. Vicki took time to discover what we wanted to do for our 24 hours there and then made it happen. Chauffeuring, walking, wine tasting, eating great food and providing a cool place to stay. It all worked. What else is there to say...

Vicki met us from the ferry and immediately took us to a viewpoint to see the west end of the island. She gave us plenty of information about the history and geography of the island, and quickly established our walking level so as the choose the ideal walk. Given the heat while we were there, the walks were in the bush, providing shade and allowing Vicki to tell us about the native trees. The cottage was an ideal place to stay, within an easy walk of Onetangi beach, and very well presented. Vicki’s previous life as a private chef showed in the delicious dinner she prepared for us. We felt very privileged to have our own personal guide, and she even let us stay an extra half day in the cottage and take a later ferry as she had no-one else coming that evening. Vicki could not have been more helpful overall and we would not hesitate to recommend her.
