Grant was our tour guide. Wonderful day out despite a wet start to day. Fabulous wines and vineyards. Lunch was beautiful. Highly recommended.

Had a fantastic tour with visiting friends this week. An intimate and relaxed wine tasting experience. Would definitely recommend Ananda if you want to learn about the island whilst enjoying the lovely wines on offer

I belong to a Probus wine tasting group. We have been tasting wine in our homes and around NZ.....Central Otago, Marlborough, North Canterbury, Hawjes Bay, Gisborne, Northland And Waiheke. Our away trips have usually been for five days or a week. Our last trip to Waiheke, which I organised, took about three days. We stayed at in apartments in Onetangi. Ok, but not great. We visited and had tastings, under our own steam in a seld driven van, Kennedy Pt (+ platters), Miro....(+great lunch there) Cable Bay, Mud brick, Te Whau + we did the amazing piano museum and other things. We are a bit older now, ranging from 67 to 85, but none of us is incapacitated. There might be 10-12 of us, more likely 8-10 of us. I wonder what your quote would be for putting together a one day bus wine tasting plus lunch trip, or possibly a half day, with another day, plus o/n accommodation, plus delivery to the ferry and picking up? Re food..... We have been to so many vineyards that I don't think we need to do tours and talks about the making of the wine. We would want to visit wineries we have not been to before together...Goldie, plus further down the island, such as Man O War, one of our group has a grandchild who works there, Poderi Crisci...hopefully for lunch, Peacock Sky, maybe, possibly Batch and Frenchman's Hill. I would appreciate your thoughts and comments and quotes. Yours faithfully Jill Macdonald
