The Marlborough sounds are beautiful and an amazing place to visit. Beautiful scenery and fantastic to see dolphins swimming alongside the boat. We will be back again soon.

The trip in the inter-island ferry shows it all. The bush-land and the beaches, the myriad of yachts all are simply stunning.
Do not miss this area when in New Zealand! Sailing, walks, cycling, nature and opportunities to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life
Marlborough Sound is stunning and well worth a visit. We went on a cruise around the sound and enjoyed visiting remote inlets and seeing the coastline. Even on a grey, windy day it is worth a visit.
So much to explore. The veiws are exceptional. Walking tracks are well maintained. Kayaking on the sounds is a great experience. A couple of days was not enough time
Great cruise from Picton out on sound to where Captain Cook landed. Many areas around for hiking and treking. Lots of spvae for sailors
