Our guide Alex sharing his extensive knowledge of the bush and history was the highlight of our walk Considering we are unlikely to pass this way again soon we wanted to savour the experience. Our guide Alex made the walk extra special by encouraging us to climb the hill to hug the 1000 year old tree or experience that special view. It was the third time walking for one of our group and each time she had hurried by those detours. The last day was very wet. Alex had brought extra warm clothing for us and a new pack for one of our team because her own one was causing back pain.

Our group of 4 did the 3 day upgrade mountain bile ride of Queen Charlotte track with Wilderness guides. We can honestly not say enough about how great this ride was. Everything was so well organised and they went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience. We would not hesitate in recommending these guys if you are looking for an adventure in the area.

Booked the 4 Day Independent Walk and loved it! Easy from pick up to drop off. The accommodation was all lovely. The beds at Furneaux Lodge were especially comfy and the Chefs table at Mahana Lodge well worth it.

Fabulous 4 day/72km walking the stunning QTC. Wilderness Guides were professional, organised and helpful from booking to even offering the use of a shower after we finished the track. Could not fault their commitment for us to enjoy our time on the trail. The three lodges we stayed at were very welcoming, clean and beautiful settings. If you are looking to enjoy one of NZ walking tracks with a bit of luxury, then do this!

We did a three day walk-cycle-kayak of the Queen Charlotte Track. Absolutely excellent service offered by Wilderness Guide, taking all the stress out of staying in a different location every night - we didn't have to think about anything, we just turned up places and things were done. Everything worked like clock work. It's great knowing you have people to call if you're not sure about something. Would definitely recommend using this company for anything Sounds related. Thanks guys!
