Amazing trip! We learnt so much and saw such spectacular sights that are hiding in plain sight in our night sky. They had top notch gear that allowed us to see in great detail. Lucca and Manon are very friendly and welcoming and the hot drinks were a great treat on a clear and beautiful winters evening.

Second tour for us with Luca!
He is really passionate about what he does and up to explain a lot about planets and stars. This stargazing is as amazing than interesting.. and overall, magical!
My favourite is still to observe Jupiter, Matariki and if you are lucky, some shooting stars! Grazie Luca :-)

This tour is excellent because of Luca's passion and deeply personal connection to what he does. It's impossible not to be captivated! Lovely group of people too. It can definitely get pretty darn cold! But the provided blankets and hot tea more than compensate. The included souvenir photo was a cool finishing touch. Thanks again.

We unfortunately had to skip Tekapo due to bad weather and chose to stay in Akaroa and enjoy the stars here. What a wonderful experience! Skillfully guided by Luca, whose passion for the night sky clearly comes across in this tour, we enjoyed a perfectly clear sky and all of Luca’s captivating explanations of stars and planets. Definitely advise to take his tour and wish him all the best in his endeavor to make Akaroa a dark sky reserve!

Booking Luca’s Akaroa Stargazing Tour was a great decison. You can feel his passion the whole time. It was an amazing night with lots of stars and information of the southern hemisphere when you look into the nightsky with your bare eyes or through the telescope. For us it was the perfect ending of our New Zealand trip and we are looking forward to book another Stargazing Tour with Luca when we come back.

We had a very pleasant time yesterday evening with Luca. He gave us plenty of informations, really cool facts about stars, galaxies, supernova, light pollution. The park where the activity takes place is out of town and high enough to not get any light pollution. It was pretty cold but Luca provides blankets and hot tea for us to stay warm, which is much appreciated. Thank again!

Luca gave a very enthusiastic and understandable experience.
He thought of everything, including low light illumination for our safety, and tea and insect repellent.
I highly recommend this to people of all ages and levels of prior knowledge.

We had an amazing time with our guide Luca. He is super knowledgeable and passionate, which he really shares with his tours. The little extras like hot drinks and blankets really make it. We learnt heaps and loved it! Stunning spot.
