A brilliant little gallery, showcasing excellent yet affordable NZ art and art-inspired gifts. Sourced from some of NZ's leading ceramic and visual artists, the items available here are sure to include something you've been looking for. Loved by every friend and visitor we have ever taken there, the helpful, knowledgable local staff are first-rate. Immensely recommended.

I was searching for something specific. Didn't find it exactly, but the woman in this shop gave me what she had - for free - to get me started. And a contact to help me continue my quest. That kind of service is hard to find these days:)

We sent quite a long time admiring items in the gallery. The originality of many was really impressive. If we lived in a larger apartment - or a house - I'd have bought one or two things, but we have no space left!

Brought half a dozen gifts (for myself) in here - despite its influx of people on sunny days the shopping in Akaroa is not the best I fine and this was a pleasant new delight. NZ artists, up-cycled crafts and some really lovely jewelry.

marvellous and interesting range of gifts/souvenirs. Friendly and helpful shop assistant. Staying open after 5pm was appreciated so we could shop after our bout trip!

My friend had been to the gallery a few weeks ago and insisted I visit when next in Akaroa. What an intriguing gallery. I thoroughly enjoyed checking out all of the merchandise and bought a beautiful piece for my daughters birthday. Great kiwi artists! I will be back.

They have a great range of New Zealand art and artists including locals. I loved Deb Fuller's work and only regret I didn't have enough suitcase space to buy something.

I think most of the items for sale were locally made and the jewellery was very nice. LOvely local people with lots of knowledge about the local area.
