There are lots of shops that sell flowers,and other shops in the area,plus a garden area to sit in.
Sometimes there is a horse and cart that takes people on a trip around old Tallinn town.

It was forbidden to visit Tallinn. In December 2020 we managed and went to the Squares. We also made some shopping.

This is the best part of the city for tourists as the old architecture has been preserved and it is full of charm. You will find lots of cafes here, good places to sit and enjoy the scene.

You can't miss this in Tallin... the flower stalls outside the wall and the shops and restaurants just inside the gates.
Most people enter theough here, it's always buzzing with people. However the main attraction here is the colourful flower stalls... so pretty

Viru Square is at the front of the Viru Gates, the famous main entrance to the Tallinn Old Town. It is a great place for shopping, sightseeing and/or having a quick bite.

One of my favorite parts of the Old Town - I always visit it when I'm in Tallinn. It is pretty & leads the Old Town & Town Square in one direction & the 'new', modern city where my hotels often are. And Pikk Tänav branches off from here, leading to Fat Margaret & the coastal gate.

It's a must visit site. With the Viru Gates and the flower stalls...places to eat and purchase souvenirs. Also what a great spot to people watch!

We ended our self guided city tour in the Square and it was beautiful. The flower sellers set off the Square and city gates.

A nice afternoon walk eventought you need more then one afternoon to see most of it Walking there was fabulous i really enjoy it .
