Address
Neighbourhood: District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.

White and Mafiia Mission
Jun 2021
Did both room at the same time with a team of 10. Both teams managed to escape, but worked hard. Really enjoyed the games. They are well organized, challenging, and still contain some surprizes.
It is in the middle of bars and pubs, so we spent a great time there.

White Mission
Jul 2020
The three of us went for the "White Mission" room. It is well made, creative, challenging but solvable, and contains surprises 'til the last minutes. It is possible to work on multiple tasks in parallel, although I wouldn't recommend the room for over 4 people, if you want to be kept busy during the entire experience. The employees were also very helpful and flexible.

Experience

Not bad, not exciting.. good experience though. Honestly there are better rooms in Budapest but if you’re advanced a little, you should like the prison room.

Fun rooms!
Jan 2020
We completed both White Room (as a 4 player team) and Prison Mission (as a 2 player team). We are experienced at having played many escape rooms and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Gozsdu Mission. The White room was an interesting concept (although would have had more 'Wow' impact if the door to the room had been closed when we first arrived - getting a look into the room from the lobby slightly spoilt the initial impact!). Prison Mission was simpler than White Room and I was glad we only did this as a 2 player team as it was a linear room, but it had some very good multi-layered puzzles. I would definitely recommend playing at Gozsdu Mission!

Great experience with accessible location in the city center.
It costs around 15 euros per person and the more you are the cheapest it gets

White Mission: Simply Brilliant
Jan 2020
Me and my friends played the White Mission about 2 weeks ago and I still can't get over how brilliant that thing was. I don't think I have ever seen a game design so smart yet simple.

White Mission is the perfect ballance of smart and creative puzzles, unusual simplistic environment with superb play of light and dark and great customer service.

The game doesn't really have a story yet it doesn't feel like it's missing as it's more like a testing chamber of some sort and not knowing supports the right mood. Even though we escaped without hints with still 28 minutes left on the timer we felt challenged through out the game and fullfiled once it was over.

Huge shoutout goes to our gamemaster as well, as she was exactly what a gamemaster should be. Bright and welcoming, helpful and her briefing before the game was flawless and (sadly) probably the only really good briefing we heard while playing in Budapest.

We played the White Mission as the last game of our trip and it was the perfect cherry on the top. My favourite!

Thanks a lot, will be back for more! :)

Awesome escape room
Jan 2020 • Friends
We spent a very exciting 70 minutes in the Mafia room. The look and feel is very authentic, the hardness of the challenge is just right for semi-advanced players and they are very creative. We only asked for a hint once.

All three rooms are awesome and the price is great too
Jan 2020
We have successfully completed all three current rooms with only one help necessary for the Maffia mission but this doesn't mean they are not complicated at all. You will have a fun time brainstorming through the variety of tasks necessary to complete each mission. The rooms are truly unique both in design and in the implementation of different techniques. I have never seen anything like the White mission which was our favorite. Not the cheapest but we have seen some more expensive rooms elsewhere not capable to amuse us so much. Each room is foolproof in a way that although they require some basic knowledge you will find all the necessary information to complete each task along the way.

Interesting and intriguing
Jan 2020 • Family
Been here and chose the prison break based on Ocean Eleven. Quite difficult and full of challenging quests, it took us longer and had to ask for some tips before sorting it out. It was a challenging hour which we both enjoyed. One minor downturn- quiet costly at 5000 HUF each in Budapest.
