Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Heavy fighting took place around this building during the war. While reconstruction of the Old Town was proceeding it was decided to leave one section of the facade in the damaged extent, as it was at war's end.
It is a powerful symbol and very redolent of troubled times. The pockmarks of war are plain to see.

As I live next to this building I am passing it every day. I find it mesmerising. You can see that only half of the original building remained after WW II. The rest was restored few years ago. Currently there are weddings and conferences organized inside. Sometimes they film some movies about WW II inside. On some occasions you can also spot scouts paying tributes to the victims of the war in front of "Fighting Poland" sign. You can still see the bullet holes in the building walls. It is most beautiful at night as the building is illuminated with colourful lights. The building is close to old town and is must see architecture.

Remains of a bank destroyed by Germans during the war. Some of the building was rebuilt in a modern style, but according to the previous general shape, several years ago. There is a statue of a P-shaped anchor, in which P means Poland and the anchor symbolises remaining, it is the symbol of the fight during these times.
I've seen there once an old lady, barely walking, putting flowers under this sign, it was quite touching.
