When you are in Bialowieża make sure you visit old park with 18th and 19th century buildings. Smells like history of that place.

Visit it in September - no tourists, wonderful weather, sunny, not too warm, perfect! The feelin of being at the end of the world and at the gate to different culture... Ancient village - a bunch of old wooden cottages, a beautiful orthodox chapel, windmills......More

This is a beautiful place with plenty of diverse regional architecture ranging from traditional cottages to windmill and chapel. Well worth a visit and a nice walk in the fresh air.

The museum contains three old cottages – two wind mills, bee-hives made out of hollowed out logs, a barn, a granary, a well, a large orthodox cross, a chapel dedicated to St. Alexander Newski and a Banya (sauna).... Interresting to visit for the architecture ..

Thank Patrick D
