Never ever will I visit this place again. The cocktails are really bad - very small, badly prepared and extremely overpriced. The choice of music was also bad - multiple genre mix up that didn’t have had any sense.

We have came in for a drink at a start of our night out. Atmosphere is quite pleasant with dimmed lights, books and bar. We really did not like hostess, she was extremely rude and inattentive (Friday night,19th of October time when we have visited)....More

I was here with my colleague who is a cigarsmoker and he loved this place. I have always loved individual bars and what they stand for. Something new. This is almost in that type of category, even though Tynska is not a individual bar. They...More

Great cocktails and atmosphere (although a little expensive). David was a great bartender and even taught me some new things about Manhattans that I didn't already know. I actually went there twice in one night because I couldn't find a better cocktail anywhere else (and...More

Stumbled upon this oasis away from generic bars and was lucky to do that on Wednesday when they have really well done lounge music. The service is exquisite while the Isley selection wins the prize!

Týnská Bar & Books is one of those little gems that has no easy explanation: a cocktail bar with literary aspirations and an excellent selection of single malt whiskies to boot, it's run by entrepreneurs who have been successful with the bar concepts of both...More

Following the recommendation of a friend, I went to Bar and Books. I absolutely shouldn't have! Cocktails were bad, and the server didn't know or care about cocktails, it seemed. She was pretty, I must admit, I would have preferred professional instead. On a Friday...More

Went there twice on our last day in Prague. The place is such a gem with really knowledgeable staff (thanks for the service Victor!), mini-whisky tastings and superb cocktails. Big bonus points for complementary olives & popcorn served with the cocktails.

One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents

There didn't seem to be a dress code that I could ascertain, although I wasn't there for Bond Night. That said, use your common sense. It's not a five star restaurant, but it is a nice place, so don't go in wearing barefoot... More
