This is one of the original 13 city gates in Old Town. Built in 1475. The tower was intended to be an attractive entrance into the city, instead of a defensive tower. The gate was used to store gunpowder in the 17th century, hence the...More

This was the first structure we saw when we walked into the city. It's a lovely old tower, like the gateway entrance into the city. Looks great at night and you can enter to go in and get some views of the view. There are...More

It was on one of our routes along the city's streets and alleys. Very nice view of the city. There are several towers all over the town so you can buy a combined ticket for all of them, the view is different from each one.

Very affordable tickets (4 euros per person). It was not crowded and we almost missed the entrance because there was just a little door and a small sign. You can buy tickets from the first floor of the tower. Worth a visit!

Tower is such an amazing view, houses a restaurant, shops and a theater if I recall. Amidst the rows and rows of shops surrounding the tower.

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
squares, and stone towers blend together with the

No it's on the first level, up a spiral staircase and quite tight for space. Hope this helps.

Tickets are easily bought at the base of the tower. No worries. Only go up if you have a clear day with great visibility.
