It was raining so we stopped in the Museo Lara. We spent an interesting hour looking at their eclectic collection of artefacts. Well worth the 4 euros each that we spent.

Always enjoy a visit to a local museum. A nice collection for those interested in learning about Spanish history. Reasonably priced. Our best experience at the Lara Museum was the evening Flamenco Show. After much searching and a desire to see Flamenco while in Spain...More

It is rare to have a museum design and presented by its own artist. Here the artist is Mr. Lara who doesn't paint or sculptures, but collects everything since he was a teen. Now more than 5 decades after, one can find him somedays at...More

I would recommend for sure. A good overview of the Spanish culture. Had many things of interest, from weapons to cinema. The cost is very reasonable and the museum is nicely done.

After having wasted 5 euro on a ticket to the water mine which was underwhelming to say the least, we walked past the Museo Lara. The friendly attendant encouraged us to enter and the entry fee was reasonable. This museum was fantastic. It had so...More

An odd collection put together by a private collector who obviously acquired things he liked. Lots of vintage everyday things like typewriters, watches and telephones. Plus a cellar full of inquisition torture tools such as a head crusher, still used in interrogation today (I think...More
