Listed as one of the top garden centres in the UK by The Sunday Times, Hilltop is a popular one-stop-shop for keen gardeners around West Oxfordshire. But it doesn't stop there. You'll also find a world full of home and garden inspiration including a great selection of plants, outdoor furniture, pots, household goods, wild bird food and feeders, gardening tools and equipment, gardening sundries, arches, arbours and gifts. The Flower Pot Cafe is famous with locals for tasty lunches and home baking. Our Cafe team can rustle up all kinds of hot dishes, freshly prepared and cooked to order including snacks and lunches served until 3pm every day and 2.30pm on a Sunday. We're family friendly so there's a good selection of children's dishes too. Using local ingredients and honest home cooking is really important to us and is ably demonstrated in our wonderful breakfast. Denshams sausages and bacon really are the best so what better way to start your day than with a Hilltop '5 item' breakfast for just £2.49. Breakfasts are served daily until 11.30am. Please note, the Restaurant and Café close half an hour before the garden centre. The Soft Play Barn is a fun, stimulating, indoor soft play area making it a perfect treat for the kids and a great day out for everyone and the stylish Pizza Cafe serves homemade, freshly baked to order pizza's - baked in our very own pizza oven! The Pizza Cafe also serves drinks - hot, cold & shaken, snacks and treats.

We went this morning for our brekkie, the food was ok, coffee awful. Staff friendly service was fine, but my word what an out dated place, shabby and unkept. Last went about 3 years ago and it seems like time has stood still over there.

Arrived on a particularly beautiful day to be treated by a toxic smell of industrial cooked breakfasts. After selecting some Viola pedunculata we adjourned to the the bistro cafe, which seemed to be offering a coffin dodgers meal deal, for a cup of coffee. Most of...More

We always come to hilltop for soft play. The little cafe is fab BUT this time we choose to use the main restaurant. BIG MISTAKE! The food was disgusting and full of grease. It was impossible to complain as the queue was a mile long....More

If you want simple garden stuff like plant labels think again - at this time of year one would think they would have stock but no - seems its more a coffee shop and furniture store than a garden centre. Even if you wanted overpriced...More

Very suitable place for passing some time with the grandchildren at a reasonable price. Children really enjoyed it and were always in sight. Drawbacks would be the slightly outdated, and uncomfortable, seating area to have a coffee and the young lady who was serving seemed...More

We went to a children's party as it was our granddaughter's 3rd birthday here. The soft play area was ideal for the age group of all the children 2-8 years. They were able to let off steam in a safe environment and then tuck into...More

What a shame after wonderful christmas display. Lots of empty messy muddly areas. I appreciate it is an inbtween time of year. Surely a small area could be cleared to put out new displays whilst other staff put old stock away. Looks like somebody keeps...More
