About EcoZip Adventures
We offer state-of-the-art flying fox ziplines and an eco-immersive forest walk for nature lovers of all ages. With a complimentary pick up from the island's ferry terminal at Matiatia Wharf, or from Oneroa Village bus stop if you're already on the island, you'll enjoy a "mini-tour" of the island en route to our site on Trig Hill. Upon arrival and welcome at our visitor centre, you will be checked-in, geared up, and readied for one of Auckland's most eco-friendly activities! Three 200m dual flying fox ziplines will fly you smoothly side-by-side with a partner, friend or relative down into a stunning tract of original and regenerating native 'bush' (forest). It's a scenic interpretive walk back to base, where you'll learn about local flora and fauna and the conservation of our spectacular natural environment. With a choice of drop-off locations afterwards, we'll make sure you have plenty of things to do on the island!

I love zip lining so was very happy to try it on Waiheke. Great staff and felt very safe. Enjoyed the first two zips but because I am older and had been warned about the hike back up the hill sadly did not do the final one. It is a shame that older adventurous, or disabled people are not catered for. All zip lining I have done overseas have a system to get back to the start. Apart from this had a great time.

I think its good, but maybe a bit expensive for a family. Staff werent so friendly to us but the view is beautiful and being on Waiheke was amazing

We went to Eco Zip yesterday and had an awesome day! They picked us up in Oneroa and dropped us back there later so it was made very easy for us! The guides were great, settling people’s nerves if they needed it, overall very professional. The zip lining was amazing - so lovely to have the views around Waiheke from the different zip lines! A must do on Waiheke!

For someone who usually backs out at the last minute to avoid heights, this was a magnificent experience. It’s that I want to but I don’t want to moment. Alex and Tim explained everything really well and I felt very safe in their capable hands. Thoroughly enjoyable . Thanks so much guys, I can tick zip lining off my list and I think I might even do it again!

Great staff, fun, also enjoyed the short bush walk back up the hill afterwards. Good emphasis on safety.
