Overview
More
Groombridge Place has lovely walled gardens overlooking a 17th century moated manor house. The Enchanted Forest has something for all ages from Crusoe's World with its tree houses and rope bridge. The boardwalk also in the forest is a popular play area with its zip wire and rope swings. The giant tree swings are popular with young and old alike. Two birds of prey displays daily Tue to Sun and Bank Holiday Monday. Don't miss our famous Zedonk (half Zebra and half Donkey).

Took my daughter and partner both for the first time to Groombridge and very much wish I hadn't. Having visited countless times as a child and a couple of times as an adult, Groombridge has been a wonderful, magical place that I was excited to...More

Observe the other recent terrible reviews for this place and take note. They tell the truth. I first visited Groombridge Place in 2009. It was unbelievably good. I returned in 2013 and noticed the place - particularly the enchanted forest - was fraying at the...More

Absolute rubbish, formal gardens are distraught, food and drink offer abysmal, most of the forest ‘attractions’ decrepit, using the loos a novel way of committing suicide, save your money for something worthwhile.

First impressions weren't great with little signage pointing us to the car park or from there to the entrance. We eventually found the ticket booth but it was unoccupied with no indication if the site was even open. We eventually walked into the cafe with...More

If you love weeds, stagnant ponds, overpriced refreshments and unsupervised lengthy treetop walkways, then Groombridge is the place for you

For Fathers day we spent £50 on a family ticket. For that it was a "classic car show" and entertainment for the children. In reality the classic cars comprised a few old cars but these were dull low value classics like MG's, Golf's, XR2's etc...More

I wouldn't bother with this one. We used to come here about once a year and had a lovely day with the kids. Visited yesterday for Father's Day. A unbelievably poor array of 'food' (a bacon roll or a hot dog!!) some of which they...More
