Crossing a busy road to get to the site - in all honesty - not a lot to see and a great deal of visualisation required on the part of the visitor - good as an escape when the weather isn't all that!

This museum and archaeological site gives you a glimpse of a region that was one of the most important Greek city states in ancient times.

We visited this place with a local guide and that made it very insteresting. We also walk to the top of the mountain next to the Gymnasium and Mosaik house and this was a good view and experience.

Several object on a hill slope. You get a good view of the history of Eretria. Fairly well preserved ruins with excavations still going on. No guidance available - free entry.

Excellent site right on the main road. this is a very historic site - it was the first major battle of the Persian Wars and is across the sea to the next major battle - Marathon.
