This is the place to go for a real treat. See a movie in a beautiful art deco movie theatre complex. Eat the best choc top ice cream in Sydney!

This cinema complex has been renovated in Art Deco style, which has been excellently done. There are several cinemas. The seats were very modern and comfortable. It’s on a main road with bus service. There is a car parking area near to the cinema, but...More

This was an incredible experience. We came to see the re-released version of 2001 - A Space Odyessy. Apart from the brilliance of the film - the whole experience of this retro cinema is phenomenal (apart from the coffee which was dreadful!)...Everything from the welcome...More

This is a beautiful period cinema showing a variety of different film types, really evoking the feel of a bygone era. Although it is about 30 minutes from Circular Quay, it’s worth the trip for anyone who is fond of movies.

What's not to like? Multiple theaters w/Australian, British and American flicks. It is also a fully licensed bar so you can imbibe during your show.

The Orpheum is the best cinema in Sydney. It has an incredible selection of classic movies shown on an almost weekly basis and many famous artists have attended the venue. The place has maintained its classic look which cinemas rarely do. It's worth a trip...More

We enjoyed a blockbuster in the main movie theatre. But this was a very special experience, from its beautifully preserved Art Deco interior (and exterior) to the advantage of the size of the screen and it even has traditional “pop up” live organ performance ahead...More

It’s not just the beautiful Art Deco setting - what sets this place apart are the independent and foreign films that are shown. We love this place!!
