Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

From the pick up at Gympie Terrace through to the drop off several hours later, the Everglades tour was a well oiled machine. Great staff, informative cruise in a comfortable boat, nice drinks and nibbles at the end. We all learned something on the day from our entertaining boat captain.

We did the kayak trip to the Everglades & had a fantastic day. Kayaks were good & a cool box (esky?) was provided for our picnic. It was REALLY hard work kayaking over the lake to get to the everglades area. To be honest, I would have preferred some sort of 'tow service' to get you over. It was hard work & you didn't see anything en route. You had to keep paddling hard otherwise you would have been blown backwards. Didn't enjoy that bit at all.
Once we were over there, we enjoyed kayaking up the tributaries. We would have preferred to spend more time doing this rather than doing the lake.

The boat trip was good but the bus trip, driver and bus were unsafe. The driver was driving fast in a bus that was unsafe and on the way back from our trip went through intersections without looking in poor weather conditions. At one point he braked so hard he only just missed a car travelling through an intersection. The bus was old and poorly looked after. In all, this part let down an other wise enjoyable day

This is a not a bad trip for the day. However, try and choose a day without wind (we didnt have a choice, it was windy the whole week we were there).
Cruising through the everglades is great, and once you reach the fresh water section, the reflections in the tea tree oiled water make for some amazing photos.
Some of us opted for the canoeing from the first stop to Harry Hut. That was great fun for the ones chosen to do this on the way to the hut. My wife an I were two of the eight that were chosen to canoe back - of course, wind picked up dramatically and the current was against us. Hard work, but still fun. A tea break at Harrys hut and a great lunch back at the restaurant are also included. It is a bit pricey though for what you get.

The trip on the boat was lovely for a boat ride. However, the promise of wildlife and the experience of seeing a variety of bird life was non existent. If I was a tourist from overseas I would be very dissatisfied with the experience and cost of this tour. The lunch was a disaster with Miner birds picking over the food before any human could approach the table. The staff at the bar and restaurant were rude and unhelpful. No toilet paper in the toilets- really??
Don’t blame covid, blame incompetence.

This was a waste of money and time. We saw no animals at all except for the lizards that try to steel the muffins they feed you at lunch time. There were maybe 5 birds on the whole trip. The guy who drove the boat was so rude and condescending. He actually called out a beautiful young Dutch girl for covering her bathing suit by calling her a princess on the microphone. Awful. A total waste of money and time.

This is an interesting part of the country but as wild life goes the ratio of sitings to time, or for that matter, money spent, is a little on the light side. We opted for the canoe add on and despite being very fit and the first to arrive at the destination the entire group heard the tour leader call out over radio that the "older couple (us) had't arrived yet". A bit tacky. The included snack was much looked forward to after the paddling but was pretty ordinary.

don't get me wrong, we are glad that we did the trip but it was definitely over priced for what we experienced.

I had a kayak adventure around the Everglades with my cousins hubby who is an experienced kayaker and luckily lives in the area.
I was so blessed to be able to experience the Everglades with him as he is so knowledgeable about the nature, history and the tides around Noosa.
If you are not as fortunate as I, I recommend you book a trip as there is so much to see comprehend.
It’s just awesome, beautiful and very beautiful!

Fantastic trip !! Weather was gorgeous !! Noosa Habitat actually allowed us to change our booking twice with no issues at all. Our Capt was brilliant !! Talked enough to keep us entertained but not too much as to be annoying !!

Booked this trip based on the description on the website which is misleading to say the least. It was a perfectly pleasant day trip but not what we signed up for ie to see ‘abundant wildlife & birds’ Our guide Dave was great & knowledgable but there is very little opportunity to see birds or wildlife. When he did try to tell us about the few species & beautiful landscape it was impossible to hear him above the passengers who chose not to listen but talked over him. The main emphasis of the trip is focused on the canoe option so if you’re not canoeing expect to wait around while the canoeists are sorted out. Even more unfortunately on our trip there was a miss calculation of canoe numbers so our boat was left to tow the spare canoe back which slowed us down enormously.
Dave was great fun & made up for this but don’t book this trip if you are expecting to see abundant wildlife. It is a day out on the river with a good bbq lunch.
