A must do when in Pemberton. Easy walk around the dam and a peaceful and lovely place. Will be great in summer for swimming and anything outdoors.

Big Brook Dam is just a short drive out of Pemberton and a great place for a picnic and a stroll. Safe swimming at the picnic area and the walking trail is quite easy and very scenic.

We did the 4km walk around the lake and were glad we did; it’s an easy walk ( fully wheelchair accessible) and the lake itself is very picturesque. Highly recommended!

We spent a lovely relaxed couple of hours wandering around this dam photographing bird life in what is a clean tidy place seemingly well managed and rubbish free - a nice place and a choice place to see the wonderful blue wren

Had a lovely afternoon at Big Brook with our family. Such a beautiful spot for a picnic or a stroll. Kids loved running around in the water.

On what was a lovely day, this is a great thing to do. A gorgeous walk on a bitumen track, so no prickles etc. Took out two spaniels who had a wonderful time as well.

It's a nice 4km walk around the dam on sealed pathway. Good for walking running or cycling. Quite a few look out points too.

Took our coffees up to the dam and had a small walk along the path. Would be very nice in summer with its small beach and grassed area.

The camping area that I know of is very small and near the Arboretum and would book out extremely quickly. Try Warren River along the Heartbreak trail, there are limited campsites but you might get lucky...first in best... More
