A beach within a city, unheard off. A good place to chill and enjoy "a beach in a city". Even a short stop to saviour the view and the beach is great.

We came to the dam and went for a long walk around the lake through the beuatiful forest then had a swim on the sandy beach. Fantastic place on a sunny afternoon!

A beautiful fresh water lake set amount the tall Karri trees. Ideal for BBQs and picnics with its own white sandy beach for swimming. Ideal walking tracks around the lake.

you can take the short loop (sealed, wheelchair possible) or take the long walk through the forest and into the Arboretum, many displays explaining flowers, birds and shelters (rain)

The camping area that I know of is very small and near the Arboretum and would book out extremely quickly. Try Warren River along the Heartbreak trail, there are limited campsites but you might get lucky...first in best... More

In the summer months you can hire canoes & paddle boats at the Dam (certainly in the afternoon). Contact the Pemberton Visitor Centre on (08) 9776 1133 in advance to check on availability or if they can hire them out from... More
