Well done, National Park Service of Australia: beautifully marked trails, clean, lovely forest, clean and ample parking areas. Magnificent woods! The big tree with the steel ladder steps seems a tourist gimmick to me - like those stupid glass bridges in other parts of the...More

We visited primarily to see the Gloucester Tree but decided to take a short walk to view the various flora that was in bloom and that added colour to the green hues surrounding. Friendly wrens accompanied us and other species were sighted in the adjacent...More

Very pleasant walk. We were not brave enough to climb the tree but the kids were excited by the prospect.

Out for a day drive and stopped here. River was in full flow just like the picture. Nice and relaxing spot for a picnic. Just the sound of water and nature to listen too.

The Cascades, where the Lefroy Brook supposedly is a raging torrent across a series of rocky shelves in winter, were frankly rather pathetic in December as it moved rather serenely. What was nice was the 1.6 km walk in the forest with lookout platforms. This...More

this is a very peaceful place amoungt the beautiful tall trees, the tree climb is very high and if you chose to do it, take a walk through the quiet broken only by the birdsongs to calm yourself down after the climb and the adrenalin...More
