Loved this walk into the wetlands - the main trail is not overly long, and makes for a very pleasant stroll with the family. We had a large group with teenagers and up, and we all enjoyed it. The boardwalks towards the water area, including...More
Great spot for a quiet and relaxing walk in nature. Many many birds (of all sizes) and even spotted a kangaroo...
Good paths and boardwalk well maintained.
One cautionary note... keep an eye out for snakes, we spotted a largish brown one which fortunately slithered...More
Once inside the Creery Wetlands it’s easy to forget how close you are to town, especially once you follow the boardwalk out into the marsh. Beautiful, peaceful and full of wildlife this reserve makes for a very relaxing walk. The kangaroos were a great surprise...More
A great preservation area in Mandurah. Easy to get to and there is a nice little cafe at the start or end of your trail if you need refreshment. Lots of birds and also the odd kangaroo to see. The trail is easy to follow...More
We live close by so walk this often. I really enjoy the walk - lots of Roos and birds to closely observe. Some days it's cold but we take a flask of warm tea, snacks and warm clothes. Close enough in Mandurah for anyone to...More
We went on a very windy and grey day , more like England than Australia. However very interesting place to visit . First a short boardwalk to waters edge then a trail through scrub and bush. Not too much birdlife when we went except for...More
A very nice but quite short trail through the foreshore scrub. We went late afternoon and there were quite a few individual kangaroos in and around the trees and also a larger group of about a dozen or so out in the open next to...More
Such a nice walk with lots of birds, and even kangaroos. The bird blinds didn’t produce much interesting and the trail isn’t very long, but worth a visit when you’re in the area.
At the northern most end of the trail is a cafe, but...More

A variety of walking trails and board walks out to the water, probably no longer than 30 - 45mins at a slow pace, completely level ground, and as it is a nature reserve, no dogs or cats are allowed, even on leads, they bait with 1080, so definitely not advised. Plenty of bird life and kangaroos, so don't forget a camera.
