Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The ‘Blowholes’ is a rock formation with impressive waves. At the top there’s a free car park and great views of the sea. There’s a good path down but it’s a long steep track and we only went about half way down. Nice walk but it was warm and sunny, which helped.

The day we chose to visit Torndirrup National Park and the Blowholes, the wind was certainly blowing. We got about half way down the steep path and decided to go back and return in a later Trip. The views are spectacular with a spattering of native flora in bloom. Even to capture a floral bloom was hard due to the intensity of the wind coming in off the Southern Ocean. Could hear a low toned roar and assumed that was associated with the blow!

Perhaps next time, we will catch the holes blowing!

Set out on the walk, other visitors advised that there was no action happing at the time, so we discontinued the walk. Would be interesting just to see the area if you had time

Another nice spot to stop off and see in Albany. Quite cool that you could get so close to the blow holes. Lovely ocean views the whole was as well.

A long walk down to the actual place where the blowhole is located. We were blessed with good weather on the day of our journey and there weren't many people heading down to the site. Main part of the walk was on proper footpath or stairs but as we got closer to the blowhole, the footpath kina become non-existent.

The long walk and a hundred steps. But worth the effort. The blow holes were roaring. Frightening sound

3rd time to see them blow, still haven't seen them do it. But the long walk is nice, and the views also.

A long walk and not easiest access. Disappointed we didn’t see any this time around. Check with tourist centre in Albany to see when they are active

I gather it is pot luck whether you will actually see the blowholes in action and it is a long walk down and back up. Definitely need to be in good condition. When you get to the end of the downward path there is no indication where you are supposed to go or to look, and we clambered over the rocks in the fierce wind but finally gave up as we were not sure how far we were supposed to go, and with the weather conditions it was starting to feel a bit dangerous. Possibly a wooden walkway over the rocks to viewing points - as they have done with The Gap - would be helpful and much safer!

It was a very windy day and there are nice views of the coast along the walk but the end of the track over the rocks needs to be marked out better and the blowholes themselves are down over the edge so you can hear the noise and see a bit of spray if they are working but are not as good as other blowholes we have seen. Not a walk for young kids.
