From what is could see, this facility is fairly light on content. Some exhibits connected to the sea, such as model ships, are interesting but much much of the space seems to be empty. Enter at your own risk.

It is a room full of nautical memorabilia including some really excellent ship models, bells, nautical equipment and old figureheads. Also interesting displays explaining the story of ships from launching until their demise. There was also an art display with some fantastic paintingsby Richard Linton...More

We went to Williamstown in the first place to visit Seaworks, only to find that the only thing happening there was an art exhibition. Very disappointed. We had hoped to be able to walk round a museum, but nothing doing.More

I'm sorry if the museum was closed when you came. We are only open on Sundays and Wednesdays 11am-3pm. We are limited as we are run by volunteers and can't open on more days at this time. However, sometimes events are held on the precinct...More
