Mooloolaba Beach is nice and long.
I would be well aware of the movement of the tide and stay save.
It’s a lovely beach.
Like all beaches stay between the flags.

Park your car on the foreshore ,walk past the rock pools or if with children stop to potter with buckets and spade. The fine sand is lovely for a barefoot stroll of about two kilometres ,on a sunny day have a sunbaked and a swim....More
B’ful beach with crystal clear water and very safe. Great surf club and walking distance to everything. Boardwalk also for full length of the beach. Nice parklands along the waterfront and playgrounds for the kids.
No you won't be able too bring your own barby. Best to have some kind soul go and claim a vacant one, if there is one, at around 3pm. You could also try the river front at Cotton Tree, there are a few more there. Or... More
