Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

BBQ areas, seated picnic tables, a kids playground, and loads of grass area to throw a picnic blanket and just enjoy the ocean breezes and fabulous views all the way to Surfers Paradise.

There are parking all the way along with a drive-around parking at the hilltop, but it is almost always hard to get a spot

John Laws Park is more commonly known as Burleigh Hill and sits between the main Burleigh Heads Beach and Burleigh Heads National Park.

If you are heading there, just try to be earlier than when you would expect the need.

Picture perfect, and always popular in any season.
There’s free parking but it’s hard to find an empty space - be patient, and be prepared to walk a bit.
You might want to bring something to sit on in case the seats are used -there’s lots of grassy areas to sit as well as the sandy beach, and walking paths.
Stunning views.

Visited on Monday 4th February. This is a great spot to stop and take in the view of Burleigh Heads Beach. There is a small car park there with shaded seating or a walking track if you want to go for a walk.

A family member was married here last Saturday (thankfully after the rain earlier in the week had cleared) The grass was lovely and green, and the backdrop of the grass, rocks and ocean was perfect. A lovely park used by so many people at all hours every day, and the sunsets here are magical, with views to Surfers Paradise.

Locally we call this the 'green' park:-)
It is only a few years new BUT misses the mark for inspiration.
Again, like it's neighbouring Justins' Lane park, the material on the ground is a pain.
Smallish wood chips. . .what are they thinking!
This is a nightmare for mums who have to go home and clean up, yet again, when the kiddies take their shoes off after play time.
Who is designing these things and deciding what material is used on the ground??
For a newish playground, this could be a much more creative and imaginative space where carers can chill & relax a little.
Not so . . . wish I could report differently. But there you have it!
Oh, and you now have to pay to park!!
remember to do this or it's a VERY expensive play.
Public toilets are about 50m away and the NOOK (under Oskars & beside the toilets) serves really good coffee.

Plenty of areas to sit in shade or sun. The walk is great. The park has plenty for the little ones (and parents) to play on. The views are a delight. Take a picnic of just sit and relax. WATCH THE PARKING INSPECTORS !!!!

Bring your own picnic, or grab a takeaway meal or coffee from the coffee shops nearby. At the top of Burleigh Hill is the Burleigh Heads National Park. This is a popular walking or respectively, offering superb views and the relaxing soothe of the rainforest escape. Great playgrounds for kids and of course the beautiful beach.
