Lovely area just outside of Katoomba, but unfortunately when we arrived on Sunday the signs indicated that the trail/falls are closed indefinitely. You will want to find an alternate hike in the area.

Be careful of rocks, it is deceptive how deep water is. Lovely cool water to swim in but wear comfortable shoes for walk to the falls!

if you enjoy bushwalking for the tranquility,go when there are no idiots blasting music at the pool at the falls base, and standing illegally on a rock ledge halfway up the falls

Short 30' walk to gorge with amazing waterfall and swimming hole. So refreshing on a hot day. Great place to bring the kids for a difference experience.
