Lovely spot out of Wyndham with a great number of bird life. Even in the drier months there are still Brolga pairs and many others to see.

Wide variety of birdlife here. Water level was low so the birds were condensed into a smaller area. Beautiful water Lillies too!

First time having breakfast at Parry’s and what a special occasion it turned out to be. Warm friendly old fashioned hospitality with food that truly represented the traditional cooking for a breakfast, that currently is missing in lots of “chick” cuisine. Real eggs, home style...More

Great drive around this area and a little easier than some 4wd drives. The bird lookout is really good for photos of flora and fauna. Take a snack and drink and sit and look and take photos .

Lovely area with some excellent birdlife. Easily spend a couple of hours here. Well worth the drive. Take your own water.

We discovered this quite lagoon near Wyndham recently - known locally as Parry's Lagoon or Marglu Billabong. It is a haven for tropical water birds of many kinds and freshwater crocodiles, all viewed from a bird hide and boardwalk over the waterlily studded waterway. Very...More

Excellent little Marglu bird hide at Parry Lagoon Nature Reserve. Good secluded seating to watch the various water birds, raptors and other birds. Keep an eye out for the slow moving crocodile

Called in with our tour group and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of wildlife. There was many different species of birds, water Lillie's and two very large saltwater crocodiles, sunny themselves on the opposite bank. There is a hide located on the waters edge...More
