This is a spectacular piece of engineering, the dam can actually keep the river water downstream to within 1cm of it's levels all year round. Awesome for photo opertunities too

A lovely piece of engineering and a great setting to boot. This is well worth a look if your driving into Kununurra. The kids will love it also

This structure is awesome. To travel into Kununurra from Halls Creek and Wyndham area you have to go over the dam. The only way in. Water water everywhere. Fantastic scenery that you can't miss.

The Ord river diversion dam and the Ord river is very impressive and a highlight of the trip. We took a boat trip down the Ord river - love it! We saw fresh water crocodiles, bird life, flying fox and more.

Interesting to visit and drive across the dam. It creates Lake Aryle which is impressive in size. We were told that the lake when full, extends in the Northern Territory.
