The park is very accessible from Kununurra and worth a visit to form an early opinion on what to expect if you are visiting the Bungle Bungles, very similar but much smaller. There are a couple of nice easy walks and a lookout that is...More

Easy walk into this park, with well maintained walkways & descriptive signage. Worth the climb up to really appreciate the geological formations, quite remarkable. We went in the early morning so not too hot but I would imagine it would be very hot during the...More

We went to this park just prior to sunset and about half of our tour group climbed to get the view over the town and sunset. The views were spectacular and well worth the climb to the top. There was no one else around when...More

Mirima is an interesting small park but does not match the higher profile parks in the Kimberley region. However, if you are staying in Kununurra, it is worthwhile to do some of the short walks. The paths are well marked and steps and rails have...More

We were looking forward to one of the hikes in the park, and after paying our entrance fee, proceeded to the trail head. The trail was blocked due to work; we suspect trail maintenance, but the sign didn't say. It would have been nice if...More

Quite a surprise to see how similar it is the Bungle Bungles except in miniature hence the name Mini Bungles. Only a few km from town centre & there they are. There's a board walk & nice climb to the top lookout if you're a...More

Spent a short time here walking on one of the tracks. More signs on the tracks would have improved my visit. Fabulous surroundings. Complete with rock wallabies?

So close to town yet surrounded by such astonishing nature. The walks are super easy, only one of them has a few steps. The place is also very well maintained with a floored trail and information about the trees and plants along the trail. Go...More

Gosh, we don't remember whether pets are allowed! We didn't see any dogs, even on leashes, when we were there, but we're unsure about the policy.
