Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Everything went well. Had a lot of fun. Still not fluent with my Spanish so things were touch and go a few times as few people spoke English, working on improving my Spanish! Felt safe as we walked the local streets but noted some of the drivers of scooters thought it was necessary to get as close as they could to you, even though both lanes were available. Biggest issues were getting gringo’d at some places, which got really old fast.

Wonderful beach that can be reached by crossing hills full of vegetation. The sea is always a little rough but remains crystal clear. Eating fish cooked by locals on the beach is a must try. I advise against taking the piña colada, very expensive and the worst I have ever tried.

Very easy to find, just head east from Las Terrenas, stick to the coast, you can't miss it. So peaceful and beautiful here, with an unusual large grassy area under the palm trees for shade.

Gentle water, no riptides, few people and we saw a higher proportion of local Dominican families here than any where else.
Was really really lovely.

Thie Moron Beach on Las Terrenas it's one of the most beatiful beach that I found on Samana. It's a small beach area that offer you a pleasant sensation of privacy

To arrive to this beach it's not neccesary a 4x4 vehiicule, but I recomend it. The last meters to arrive to this beach are uful, so you have to go througt a privaty property

Enjoy the view that offer you the place and nature.

The opposite side of the majority of the beaches, Playa Moron faces a big hotel complex.
Its wide soft sand beach, is a pleasure to the toes. Its quiet and you often have the beach to yourself......sheer delight.

Ok, I am a fan of secluded beaches. I prefer to be there with just my group of people and no one else. So that is why I rate Playa Morón so high. I also love waves and body surfing and you definitely can have some fun here. It's not necessarily a beach that I would recommend you hop in your vehicle and just go visit. You should speak some Spanish or go with someone who has experience. It's a little bit out of the way to get to but that's what makes beaches like Morón so great also. You also can't drive right up to the beach. Look for the trail which can be very muddy or climb through an opening in the cyclone fence near the road where you'll park. Another reason it's better to go with someone who has local experience.

For those that were wise enough to rent a mode of transportation and fully enjoy and discover Samana this is one of the beaches to discover. better bring cooler and drinks with you. The beach is serene, pristine undeveloped not even a small Dominican stall selling beverages ...
To get there hear towards El Limon there ask for Moron.. no sign you need to ask or look up on map...
Great t to go there before or after going to the El Limon water falls

This may be a great, secluded beach at peak season, when every other beach is covered in tourists. However, there are much nicer beaches closer to town in the off-season and, unless you're on a tour with a guide, the drive in is a bit dicey. Plus, some random guy might try to fleece you for parking on the way out. It's really not worth the trip in the off-season.

It's a beautiful beach, but to wavy for our taste. Terrible to get there driving. No restaurants near but that's the price you pay for a virgin beach. There's a touristic project building nearby and they made us walk a 1/4 mile (not cool).
